Our challenge is to continue to hold the Gillard Government to account and continue to develop strong and deliverable policies for the country. The Liberal Party stands for lower taxes, no more waste, better services, stronger borders and a fair go for families. We have a strong plan for Australia and Tasmania's future with commitments such as fully funding the duplication of the Midland Highway and cleaning up the Tamar River. Health and education standards will be higher, government more accountable, and small businesses will be able to flourish without unnecessary red tape. We will take direct action to tackle carbon emissions and protect Tasmania's natural environment.

I have travelled to Tasmania seven times since the election and intend to be a regular visitor so that, with your help, we can deliver the good government Tasmania so sorely needs and deserves.
