Premier David Bartlett today revealed that former DIER head Mark Addis is being paid his full salary - some $237,000 per annum - to do nothing.
In the words of the Premier, following the conclusion earlier this year of his secondment to Infrastructure Australia, Mr Addis is "on leave."
Every week that Mr Addis is paid to do nothing costs Tasmanian taxpayers more than $4,500.
It is an absolute at outrage that Premier Bartlett allows this to happen, at the same time as he slugs Tasmanians with massive pre-Christmas water and sewerage bills, and shows just how out of touch Labor is.
