Instead of finding a new operator for the LGH laundry service before redeploying staff, the Government is now paying twice as many staff, with short-term contractors brought in to temporarily run the service.

Some five months after the Health Minister announced the outsourcing of the service, the Government hasn't yet even advertised a tender.

This is the height of government incompetence.

The state's health system has already been destroyed by Green-Labor ineptitude. For the Government to now turn around and botch the most simple of savings measures highlights just how incompetent they are.
