Madeleine Ogilvie grew up in New Town and was educated at the Friends’ School and Hobart College before attending the University of Melbourne.
Madeleine later obtained a Law Degree from the University of Tasmania and has extensive experience in the legal profession, including working for UNESCO on international cultural heritage law in France.
Madeleine was also General Manager Commercial and Contracts with the Telstra Corporation, before returning to Hobart to start a family.
Madeleine is the granddaughter of former MP Eric Ogilvie and great-niece of former Premier of Tasmania Albert Ogilvie.
